How do you remove fake fingernails?

soak your nails in warm water for 10 mins then they pop right off (btw the warmer the water the easier they are to get off)How do you remove fake fingernails?
Hot water, and if that fails try alcohol like vodka to remove them. If all fail, rip them off.How do you remove fake fingernails?
An angle grinder.
they remove by themselves...you just have to let days pass...i used fake nails once and i just waited like 4 days and then I just took them off with my fingers...hope my advice works! :)
soak them in acetone nail polish remover for like 2 min. on each finger nail, they shud come right off
go to a beauty supply store and buy acetone. then go home and soak your fingers and the nails will just pop off!
I would recommend letting us professionals do the dirty work. But if you want to do it yourself purchase some acetone at Sallys and use two old glass bowls. It's called to double boiler method.

1. Fill the first bowl (preferable a little larger one) with very hot water.

2. Put enough acetone in the second bowl so that all of your fingernails will be submerged in the acetone. You will feel the acetone heating up. This means it is starting to break down the acrylic.

3. Put the smaller bowl into the hot water bowl. Wait for a few minutes until the acetone heats up. Using a cuticle pusher, orange wood stick start scraping the acetone off layer by layer. You can also use a nail file (gently)

Just remember that as soon as you take your hand out of the acetone it will start to harden within a few moments. It should take approximately 1/2 hour to completely remove all the acetone. Discard the acetone. Do not throw it down the drain. Best bet is to put the bowl outside or somewhere well ventilated and put some paper towels submerged in the acetone. It will evaporate into the air.

Wash your hands, buff or apply a nail hardener.
actually, i just got mine removed yesterday at the salon.

were these ones you bought at a drugstore and put on yourself? if they are, it usually says on the box but im sure if you soak your fingernails in hot water or alcohol they will come off. hot water will melt the glue.

DO NOT PULL THEM OFF. well, i guess you could, but when you pull them off it also takes part of your nail with it, like the top 3 layers or something.

if you got yours put on by a salon, you should go back to the salon to get them removed, plus you get your hands pampered and massaged and it feels real nice. i would know, i got mine off yesterday.

oh yeah and i dont know if they are gel or bio gel or acrylic so it really depends.
Soak them in acetone (nail polish remover) for 5-10 minutes. Once they are soft, you can use a cuticle cutter and take them off. Removing nails leaves a ridge in your nail from where they had to buff and add the acrylic. It also leaves excess glue and acrylic gunk. Then you have to peel off the excess nail pieces that stick to your nail.

I would recomend going to a nail salon tho. It costs about 20-30 depending on where you live. They have better tools for removing the nails and will file and buff them for you when they are off so they dont look so damaged.
