I have really bendy fingernails, and sometimes they split in half or layers. What does this mean?

You need more calcium, or your nail polish remover is making your nails brittle. You can use lotion on your nails or try nail polish with nylon fibers. That makes them harder and more durable. Never chip off your nail polish and use nail polish remover infrequently. One study has shown that biotin (a vitamin) 2.5 mg a day helps nails. They also make some nail polish that helps make nails strong.

Hope that helps!I have really bendy fingernails, and sometimes they split in half or layers. What does this mean?
you might not be getting the right vitamins. you can google what vitamins to take for fingernails then get them from like wallmart, it really helps. or try to always keep a coat of clear nail hardener, sally hansen makes good ones. that really helps too, even a colored nail polish will help becuase you wont see the layers tearing off as much and then you wont be tempted to pull at themI have really bendy fingernails, and sometimes they split in half or layers. you need to file them down and take care of them more. Clip them so they are all one length and once they start growing file them down with a nail filer. It will make sure its all even and nice. It happens to me too when i dont take care of my nails.
you bitee them
