Fingernails only grow long on one hand?

As most ladies, I would like to have long fingernails, but they only grow long on my left hand....perhaps it has something to do with me being righthanded and those nails get more abuse?? What natural substances can a person take to aid in the growth and strength of nails?Fingernails only grow long on one hand?
There is a great product from OPI called Nail Envy. I just love it. It not only makes your nails grow longer, they are also whiter, so you almost have a natural American manicure. Try eating Jell-o. My mom always swore that eating Jell-o would help strengthen hair and nails.
This might sound silly but here goes. Just stop caring. My nails grow sooo long once I stop caring. As far as what to take or use, biotin helps nails grow. Also, a friend of mine swears by jello and gelatin.
